What We're Working On
We're still in development & beta testing -- here are some of the things we know aren't currently working as we want for broader launch & some features we're looking to launch in upcoming versions. Have any feedback? Email us at hello@connectavec.com

Map View
The map allows you to visually see where your friends are going to be on a specific date.
Current status:
-
Filter by orbit & by date to focus on the people who matter.
-
Tap a city to see who lives there or will be there
Coming Soon:
-
Tap on a user’s location to update their "local" city.
Orbits
Orbits control who can see your trips - they’re key to managing privacy and visibility.
Current status:
You can create groups in two ways -
-
Via Orbits: Tap a contact to add them to a new or existing orbit. You can also select multiple contacts to add in bulk.
-
When creating a trip: Add an orbit in the “Visible to” field, then add people in the trip details page - this will also add them to the locals list for that city.
Coming soon:
-
See who else is on avec so you can prioritize organizing them into orbits.
-
Too many contacts? Mark your “space junk” to focus on the ones who matter.

Friend Locator
The Locator tab shows trips shared with you by other avec users who have you in their contacts.
-
Use the Orbit filter to show trips from only people you’re interested in.
-
By default, it shows trips within the next 90 days -adjust the date filter to look further ahead.
Routines
Routines help you automatically add consistent availability to your calendar, so you don’t have to add each slot manually.
Currently:
-
Routines fill in availability on trips where you don't have conflicting events
Coming soon:
-
City-based routines, so you can set standard availability slots by location - like workouts with friends at home or after work dinners while traveling.

Visual Notes & more
Here are the visual things we're working on:
-
On the trips page, the bottom overlay prevents the ability to select contacts.
-
The hamburger menu items overlay the page that you are on. You can navigate to other pages without exiting the menu item, but when you try to go back to the original page, it's remains overlaid.
-
The hamburger menu doesn’t work on the intro or web booking pages (yet).
