Import your network

Bring your people into avec

Connect LinkedIn, Strava, and your phone contacts to see your network on the map, know when friends are at the same events, and never miss a chance to meet up.

Luma Events

See friends at the same events

When you import your LinkedIn connections, avec matches them against Luma event guest lists. If someone you know is attending the same event, they'll show up right on your home feed.

1
Install the avec Chrome Extension
Open this link on your desktop and add it to Chrome. It takes about 10 seconds.
Install from Chrome Web Store →
2
Sign in with your avec account
Open the extension and sign in with the same Google account you use in the avec app.
3
Choose a source and import
Select LinkedIn or Strava and let the extension do its thing. It reads your connections and imports names and locations into avec.
4
Open avec and explore
Your connections appear on your map, in My Universe, and in upcoming events. Friends at the same Luma events show up right on your home feed.

Or import on your phone

Bring in your phone contacts

No desktop handy? Import straight from your address book inside the avec app — no extension needed.

1
Open avec and go to Connect Sources
In the app, open your connections and tap Connect a source.
2
Choose Phone Contacts
Pick Phone Contacts to import from your address book.
3
Allow access and import
When avec asks to access your contacts, tap Allow. Your contacts upload so you can connect with the people you already know — and you can disconnect anytime to remove them.
💡
LinkedIn & Strava import through the Chrome extension, which only runs on desktop Chrome. Phone contacts import right inside the app on your phone.
